burgerIn-N-Out by Madison, 6th grade

When I was coming home from school last Monday at about 12:40, I was so hungry and didn’t want to wait to go home. When we passed In-N-Out, I smelled the aroma of grilled onions, burger patties, and french fries. I told my mom, “I am really hungry. Can we go to In-N-Out?”

“Closed?” I ask, depressed.

“Don’t worry! There is another place too at San Carlos.” I quickly sit up straight and am super glad. A few minutes pass and I slowly get bored, minute by minute. I hear my mom say, “Remember, the address is 864 Laurel St, San Carlos, CA 94070.”

My Favorite Movie: Pacific Rim

by Javy, 4th grade

Pacific RimThe best movie of all time is Pacific Rim. First, I like it because it’s about giant robots fighting giant monsters. Second, the robot and abilities are epic. Finally, I like how the robots are being controlled simultaneously by the design two pilots’ movements. So, Pacific Rim is basically the best movie of all time.
